Highlight

The main pavilion, with a raised stage in the center and a wing on either side, is a post and beam structure built using local hemlock. The timber framing, including the trusses, was done in our shop and transported to the site for final assembly.

Detail

Discovery Junction is a community park located next to the Pocahontas County Opera House in downtown Marlinton WV. Seven Rivers completed the project almost entirely with in-house labor, including all sitework, sidewalks, utilities, timber framing, and finish work. We are proud to see our work now being utilized as a community asset.
